We would welcome expressions of interest from individuals with relevant medical experience together with an understanding of corporate working at Board level.  Applications from candidates with a background in specialist neurological care or public health medicine are especially encouraged.

The role is unpaid, apart from expenses, and would require attendance at six Council of Trustees' meetings each year, either in London or at one of our care centres.  Trustees also have the opportunity to advise management on specific areas of the charity's work and to be involved more directly in the governance process through membership of sub-committees of Council and participation in the activities of various working groups.  Trustees also have an opportunity to link with one or more care centre, so as to understand the complexities of health care delivery.
