Thorpe Hall Nurses Swap Uniforms for Vests and Trainers

The nurses have set themselves a goal of raising £2,450, which is the cost of a whole week's care for a patient at Sue Ryder Care – Thorpe Hall Hospice. 

Race Day was a great success and the weather was really wonderful!  Susan and Paul completed the half marathon in good times.  It was Susan's first half marathon and she was quite nervous on the day but actually said she enjoyed the race!  Maggie was unable to run on the day but is taking part in the Snowdonia Marathon in a couple of weeks time in support of Sue Ryder Care.  Sandra was planning to do the 5k run, but hurt her foot in training so she was pushed around the course in a wheelchair by Sally another of our nurses.I
