Raising funds at T – in the Park 

Employees from BAE Systems were recently delighted to be given the opportunity to spend the weekend at Scotland’s biggest music festival, T in the Park, to raise funds for Sue Ryder Care.

Gavin Jeffrey, Gordon Law, Ryan McFadyen and Andrew Donovan from the Scotstoun site joined two volunteers from Strathclyde University Rag to man the Sue Ryder Care marquee over the course of the festival. The volunteers had a great time and helped Sue Ryder Care fundraiser Carol Anne McMahon raise awareness, dish out chocolate covered goodies from the chocolate fountain and paint festival goers faces, as well as managing to find the time to watch a few bands!

Carol Anne said “The volunteers from BAE and Strathclyde University Rag did a great job in engaging with the crowds over the weekend and Sue Ryder Care will benefit from over £700 from their efforts. I'd like to thank them all for all their hard work and I look forward to working with them again at other West of Scotland events.”
