Bradford & Bingley

"A core part of Bradford & Bingley's Corporate Social Responsibility programme is support for the communities in which we live and work.  It being our heartland, our presence in the West Yorkshire region, in particular the Aire Valley, is deep rooted and extensive.  We therefore ask our employees and customers to tell us which charities and community projects they would like us to support. The Sue Ryder Care Hospice at Manorlands has always proved to be very popular with our 1,200 head office staff in the Aire Valley and was chosen by them, through our staff survey, to be the charity of the year for 2006 and 2008. The hospice fundraisers have been extremely professional in all our dealings with them and clearly believe in a two way partnership between company and charity.  For these reasons, we will be continuing our support for them. The partnership has so far raised in almost £25,000 since 2004."
